Bobby The Bartender Has Passed
Wednesday, October 11 @ 12:50:37 EDT by Jonas_Grumby (338 reads) |  A sad day for all Saucers. Bobby Cook has passed away. Everyone will know him as the crusty old bartender at the best bar (with the best and strangest jukebox) in San Francisco, The Owl Tree.
Our killer jukebox DJ contests revealed that NO ONE can resist the toe-tapping power of Maneater by Hall & Oates and that British ladies on holiday are depressed by Bob Dylan songs and will yell at you for playing them. Heated political discussions with out of town siblings visiting our fair city. Bobby closing and locking the front door so that nobody else could come in or OUT because the bar was filled to his liking and pouring capabilities at the time.
Many a great night was spent with him, his dog, his well poured drinks, his chex mix, and his tons and tons of creepy fucking owls.
We raise a glass...

Star Trek : Digitally Remastered

They are pulling a Lucas and digitally remastering many of the shots in the original episodes, cleaning up the audio, prepping them for Hi Def, etc.

Tom Metz in Skating Melee

An unidentified man on foot caused Tom Metz to fall off his skateboard and be taken to Kaiser ER in SSF at around 10PM Thursday night. The fall and subsequent breaking of his wrist occured as Metz was on a "munchy run" to the corner gas station. The result has also put off his immediate utilization of the inverted lateral and upsidedown left hand right hand self pleasuring technique that he invented and is so known for as well as being the drummer for the Drunk Uncles.
